9" (23 cm.) h. 10"w. Of fine mahogany with burled drawer fronts and ebony edging, the four-drawer dove-tailed chest has graceful ogee curved front and ebony wooden drawer pulls. The base and top are designed to pull apart from the body, giving access to secret compartments. Excellent condition. English, early 1800s.
