Description
18" (46 cm.) Solid domed pink-tinted bisque socket head, light brown sculpted hair featuring curls tumbling onto forehead and two narrow intertwined braids at the back of head, with blue hair ribbon and bow at the crown, well sculpted ears, intaglio tiny blue painted eyes with white eye dots, brown short feathered brows, black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth modeled as though open with wide beaming smile, two rows of tiny painted porcelain teeth, impressed double dimples in each cheek, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume, undergarments and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8050 Heubach Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with exceptional detail of modeling of hair and eyes, double cheek dimples.
