Description
7" (18 cm.) Seated upon a porcelain box in the shaped of an upholstered chair with tasseled cushion is a Japanese woman with legs curled beneath her, having black sculpted hair, downcast eyes, pink kimono with magenta collar and cuffs, black one-strap shoes. The woman's head serves as a handle for lifting the box lid. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1925.
