Stuart's Take
It would be easy to miss the feature of this doll that truly is extraordinary. The corset is actually sculpted bisque. One might just scroll right by, not even noticing what is one of the rarest features I have seen on any doll. I love the lineage as well, originally coming from the collection of Winnie Langley, a woman I greatly admired for her pioneer vision in recognizing the unique and fringe dolls long before anyone else. Of course Winnie knew back then, she rescued so many incredible pieces over the years of her collecting during the mid-late 20th century. And look at the estimate...for anyone looking for something truly rare and exquisite but still hoping for something in-budget.
