Description
For Huret poupee 16"-17". The ensemble comprises a gown of fine silver/white gauze with interwoven blue lines, featuring a high waist with blue silk banding which is repeated in banding around the skirt hem, with wide pleating at the front and box pleats at the back closure. Along with a white sheer muslin blouse with narrow tucks down the bodice accented by dainty embroidery, full sleeves, back button closure. And with a blue silk bow for attachment at skirt back. The costume is preserved in original green paper covered box stamped "Maison Huret 22 Blvd Montmartre Paris". Excellent condition. French, Adelaide Huret, circa 1860.
