Bisque shoulderhead with plump face, brown sculpted hair drawn away from face with stippled feathering around the edge of face, short curls at back of head, sculpted brown hair band, sculpted ears, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent lip, cloth body, wooden lower arms with painted gloves. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rare brown hair enhanced with decorative glaze, painted gloves, wonderful antique costume comprising gown and matching cape, cotton and wool petticoats, pantalets.
