7" (18 cm.) All-wooden doll with swivel head, defined sculpting of facial features and decorative tuck comb at crown, mortise and tenon jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles, and having swivel waist. Condition: structurally excellent, painting of face is rubbed to nearly natural patina, costumes darkened but structurally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, early 1800s, included with the doll are four silk brocade gowns with metallic trim. Value Points: exceptional detail of articulation for such a tiny doll, presented in early lidded box.
