22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, dimpled chin and philtrum, pierced ears, brunette human hair over Steiner pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A - 15 Paris Le Parisien Bte SGDG A 15 (head) Bebe Le Parisien Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: pristine original condition, the bebe is wearing lavish embroidered lace dress over pink underdress, undergarments, socks, shoes signed by Alart, lavish bonnet with original Au Nain Bleu label inside, and rose silk wooden handled parasol with lace trim. Included is a photograph of young girl, presumably the original owner of the doll, holding the doll.
