Description
10" (25 cm.) x 9". Shelved within a glass-fronted folded leather library box are 50 miniature volumes of works of famed British poets, each with engraved images of the authors, and each bound in shades of straight-grained patterned silk; the folding library case with original morocco-cover having pediment shape at center top when opened. London, Jones & Co, 1821-1830. Books are excellent, case is structurally excellent albeit wear to leather finish.

I love this piece. Did you know that the books are actual books? Not just faux? Good luck reading them but what an amazing thing to think that you could if you want! And what a perfect accompaniment to your vignettes for a Library or parlor room alongside lady dolls.
