Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump facial modeling, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid plump bebe body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, bisque lower arms and hands, wearing original muslin dress with red scalloped edging, socks, brown shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6/0 (head) Bebe Brevete SGDG Paris (original paper label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1877, his first model bebe. Value Points: extremely rare smallest size of the earliest model is further enhanced by exemplary condition including sturdy body and perfect bisque hands, finest quality of bisque.
