Description
19" (48 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, oval shaped face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair with braided topknot at back crown and arranged poufs of curls at each side of face, accented by a painted floral decoration at top center forehead, painted blue eyes, black feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, slender kid body, wooden lower arms and legs, painted red shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: beautifully-preserved model with rare floral accent, sturdy body, and wearing original olive silk twill gown and original undergarments.
