Description
16" (41 cm.) Light tan complexioned socket head, painted brown eyes with black iris rims, brown eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth with wide solemnly-shaped lips, rooted hip-length blonde hair, jointing at shoulders and hips, seam line at center waist, no navel. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sasha Serie (doll and wrist tag). Comments: Gotz, first production model, circa 1969. Value Points: preserved in near mint condition in original box, with rare no-navel model is wearing her original Girl Scout uniform comprising hat, blue shirt, orange scarf, corduroy skirt, belt, woolen stockings, black ankle boots and is carrying yellow felt flag on wooden pole. The doll is shown in the book, The Rose Unfolds, by Rosalie Whyel and Susan Hedrick, page 259.
