16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with rich brown complexion, sculpted black short curly hair, intaglio brown down-glancing eyes with white eye dots, heavily-modeled eyelids, black painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with two sculpted white teeth, full coral lips, brown leather torso, cloth upper arms and composition lower limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 Heubach (sunburst) 7668 Germany (head). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare brown-complexioned character child with superb sculpting of hair and features, flawless bisque, antique Sunday best suit.
