14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, heart-shaped facial model, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden slender flapper body with elongated limbs, ball-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, feet posed for high heels. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1469 Simon & Halbig 2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1917. Value Points: sought-after doll is wearing original fashionable costume including heeled shoes. The doll is featured in the book, The Rose Unfolds, by Rosalie Whyel and Susan Hedrick, page 203.
