24" (61 cm.) Pink-toned poured wax shoulderhead turned slightly to the side, blue glass sleep eyes, arched brows, closed mouth with downcast lips, inserted brunette hair, softly-stuffed body, poured wax arms and legs to above the elbows and knees, bare feet. Condition: very good, some fading of facial features, left big toe missing. Comments: English, circa 1880, in the Montanari manner. Value Points: endearing pensive expression, original hair and body, and wearing original beautiful layered costume and gown.
