22" (56 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead with rounded plump face, black sculpted short curly hair with center part, sculpted ears, painted blue eyes with dark outline, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between pale lips, muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: beautifully-preserved original finish with gleaming patina, lovely costume comprising gown, undergarments, black stockings and fancy black leather shoes.
