Description
4" (10 cm.) -5" figures. Arranged on wooden base, under dome, is an arrangement centered by the carved wooden figure of a winged angel standing upon a tall pedestal. Surrounding the angel are five men, each costumed to represent a different occupation, which is indicated by various accessories such as banjo, dog, hunting gear, and peddler wares. Each figure has intricate carving, each with natural finish of wood. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: European, early 1800s. Value Points: very fine detail of carving on the intriguing presentation.
