Description
32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles the eye-cut, painted curled lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1249 dep Germany 14. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: the beautiful child has finest pale bisque, characteristic dimple in chin, cheek corners and on lower lip, original wig, body, and body finish.
