16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A 9 10 Paris (incised on head) Le Parisien (red stamp on head). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: wearing store original costume comprising lace trimmed dress, matching jacket and ruffled bonnet, undergarments, and leather shoes incised "P", and preserved in original box with Bebe Le Parisien label.
