Description
8" (20 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, oversized head with pronounced bald pate and very chubby blushed cheeks, painted "O" shaped blue eyes with white eye dots, red button nose, downcast lips, painted white baby smock, jointed arms, hinged bisque legs with sculpted blue slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1920, designed by the American artist, Charles Twelvetrees, the model was marketed as Hebee, made in Germany. Value Points: rare little imp with very imaginative characterization.
