Description
15" (38 cm.) doll. 17" with headdress. Amber tinted bisque socket head, dark brown inset eyes, painted lashes, black feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair arranged in traditional manner wrapped around extended comb and with decorative flowers, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1329 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: exceptional detail of original costume, the beautiful silk with bordered trims, gilt buttons, embroidery, and with original slippers and headdress.
