Description
19" (48 cm.) One-piece carved wooden head and torso, heart-shaped face, elongated throat, shapely bosom and tiny waist, painted black hair with sculpted details, center part, waved behind ears, and accented with swirling tiny ringlet curls above each ear, outlined painted tiny blue eyes, dot brows, closed mouth, dowel ball-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, spatula-shaped hands, flat yellow shoes, antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1820. Value Points: most charming painted curls, dainty facial expression and painting.
