Description
26" (66 cm.) Very thick paste porcelain with overall pink-tinted complexion, solid dome, plumply rounded face and sturdy throat, deeply sloping shoulders, defined eye sockets with upper-glancing deep blue eyes having white eye notch in pupils, black and red upper eyeliner, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very rich lips, blonde human hair wig with coronet braid, old muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique silk gown, undergarments, leather boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Lippert & Haas of Schlaggenwald, circa 1860. Value Points: very rare model, has outstanding detail of sculpting and painting, the pink-tinted complexion enhanced by richly painted features.
