Each has bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, brushstroked brows, painted lower lashes, open mouth, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose SFBJ 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1910. Value Points: the matched pair of dolls wear original folklore costumes of the Bourg-de-Batz region of France with elaborate embroidery and gilt metallic accents, original shoes and headwear.
