25" (64 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head with sculpted dark brown hair waved over ears and captured at the crown, painted facial features, brown painted eyes glancing to the side, closed mouth with reflective expression, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with her name and 1893. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: designed by Lilli Baitz, portraying Anna Held (1873-1918) the French born actress of the Broadway Ziegfeld shows. Value Points: wearing fur-trimmed brown tweed ensemble with widely-flared double bretelles, with fur muff and painted gloves, brown wool toque with feathers and grosgrain ribbon trim. With original labeled leather travel case.
