Poured wax head with well-defined features, painted downcast eyes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with gentle smile, firm-bodied with flexible wire upper arms and legs posed seated, wooden hands and feet. Condition: good, (non-visible) repair at neck. Comments: 18th century, European. Value Points: dainty lady with gentle expression is wearing very fine original silk gown with rich appliques of velvet and gold metallic rope, lace fichu and bonnet, silk sewn-on slippers.
