21" (53 cm.) All wooden doll with socket head, carved and painted facial features, large brown intaglio eyes with white eye dots, black upper eyeliner, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wistful expression, brunette tacked-on mohair bobbed wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for posing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: fine original finish with gleaming patina of complexion enhancing the deeply-carved details, original knit undergarment and Schoenhut shoes.
