All wooden doll with socket head, carved and painted facial features, large blue intaglio eyes with white eye dots, black upper eyeliner, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wistful expression, blonde tacked-on mohair bobbed wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for posing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: fine original patina is perfectly preserved, wearing original khaki twill uniform with pockets, belt, leather leggings, wide-brimmed hat.
