Carton moule shoulderhead extending to fully-modeled bosom, kid over carton midriff with kid band at the waist, elongated kid legs, stitch-jointing of shoulders, wooden lower arms with slightly-curved fork-like hands, painted brown eyes in defined eye sockets, single stroke brows, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, brunette tacked-on human hair wig. Condition: excellent condition. Comments: French, early 1800s. Value Points: rare early doll with intriguing body construction and great presence, original wig, and wearing fine early original gown with fine embroidery, original velvet slippers.
