Description
25" (64 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head with sculpted short black very curly hair, painted facial features, brown painted eyes, closed mouth with painted teeth, curious expression, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with her name and 1926. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenore Ulric, purchased by J.H. Hoffheimer, 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label on costume). Comments: designed by Lilli Baitz, portraying Lenore Ulric (1892-1970), star of Broadway stage and early silent films. Value Points: brown woven plaid tunic in sweater style with silk crepe trim, over silk knife-pleated skirt, stockings, brown leather shoes with straps. With original labeled leather travel case.
