Art-plaster sculpted head with sculpted dark brown hair with casual topknot, painted facial features, brown painted eyes glancing to the side, closed mouth appearing as though open with painted teeth, slightly smiling, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with her name and 1905. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Margaret Anglin, purchased by J.H. Hoffheimer, 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label on costume). Comments: designed by Lilli Baitz, portraying Margaret Anglin (1876-1958) the Canadian-born Broadway actress, producer and director. Value Points: wearing deep rose silk crepe gown with fitted waist, full sleeves and delicate lace trim at bodice over tucks. With original labeled leather travel case.
