12" (30 cm.) All-cloth doll with stitch-shaped facial features, painted blue eyes in deeply defined eye sockets, heavy eyelids, painted thick lashes, brows, closed mouth, stitch-shaped cheek dimples and chin, stitched-on ears, brunette stitched-on wig, cloth body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good, some old touch-up on face. Comments: American, late 1800s, mystery maker. Value Points: well-rendered folk doll, he is wearing original blue woolen suit, shirt and tie and with wooden heeled laced ankle boots.
