Solid domed carved bone head, tiny black inset eyes, nostrils, slightly-parted lips with hint of tongue tip, carved ears, carved wooden body with one-piece torso and legs, wooden arms jointed at shoulders and elbows, carved bone feet and hands with well-defined fingers and toes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: early 1800s. Value Points: rare model with wonderful definition of facial features, hidden hinged door at back of head as secret compartment, and wooden rod for articulation of head.
