Description
29" (74 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with oval face and slightly elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair in refined yet complicated coiffure, featuring center part with hair softly waved over part of ears and forming into loosely braid loops at the sides which center a loop at the back nape held by a molded comb, and with a sculpted band of beading at the crown, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: very rare coiffure accentuated by grand yet gentle presence, wearing exquisite gown with rich beaded accents.
