Description
27" (69 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead with oval face, strong elongated throat, black center-parted hair with small coiled braids in front of each ear and a chignon at the back of head with encircling braid, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, small closed mouth, kid body with tiny waist, jointing at shoulders, antique gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1850, the early lady doll with gentle strong presence, original finish, rare coiffure.
