All-cloth doll with stitched-on shoulderhead having six seams and mask face and flat dimensional features, brown complexion, black painted hair, outlined brown painted eyes, outlined nose, closed mouth with defined teeth, brown muslin stitch-jointed body, oil-painted arms with stitch-defined fingers, wearing antique gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, in the Columbian doll genre, maker unknown, circa 1890s. Value Points: intricate construction of head, artistically painted complexion and facial features.
