Description
6" (15 cm.) doll. 4 1/2" seated. Seated on a wooden chair is a porcelain shoulderhead doll with black sculpted hair delicately drawn from face and accented with stippled feathering around the forehead, captured in bun at the back of head, painted blue eyes, facial features, muslin body, kid arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: wonderful detail of coiffure for this tiny size.
