14" (36 cm.) All composition, socket head, jointed limbs, red human hair drawn into chignon at her crown, painted brown eyes, wearing coral cotton ensemble with flared skirt trimmed with pyramid-shaped lace panels, and matching jacket with generous leg'o mutton sleeves and ruffled bodice front, petticoat, pantalets, stockings, shoes, gold heart bracelet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Effanbee, 1939, from their series of 30 Historical dolls, their advertising for this doll noting "dresses at this time featured leg'o mutton sleeves, short jackets which terminated in a peplum and the extensive use of lace and braid".
