Description
3" (8 cm.) h. teapot. 6" x 6" x 6" box. Presented in a green paper wrapped cardboard box is a porcelain tea service, of white porcelain with emerald green stripes and gilt edging, comprising lidded teapot, lidded sugar, creamer, two cups, two saucers and tray. Excellent condition, uncertain if box is original to set. French, circa 1865, the box is of the style presented in the Maison Huret (not signed), very fine quality of porcelain.
