Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, tiny closed mouth, blonde lambswool wig, cloth body, loosely-jointed limbs, wooden hands; attached to the hands and feet is cording which, when pulled at the top, cause the figure to dance about merrily. Condition: generally excellent, some frailty to silk of costume. Comments: French, circa 1875. Value Points: the dancing toy is wearing its original aqua and blue harlequin costume and cap.
