Description
To fit 17" poupee. Of vertically ribbed white pique, the ensemble includes pinafore dress with fitted bodice and box-pleated skirt, along with matching jacket having coat-style sleeves and scalloped edging at jacket and sleeve edges. The ensemble is richly decorated with raised embroidery of garland flowers. The dress is marked at the waist "Huret a Paris". Excellent condition. French, Huret, circa 1860.
