25" (64 cm.) Lightly-pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead with cut pate, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, thick black eyeliner, widely arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with smiling expression, double row of teeth which are part of the actual head model (rather than inserted), brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers, antique costume and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1860. Value Points: very rare model with finest luminous complexion, rare glass eyes, and very rare modeling of open smiling mouth with modeled rows of teeth.
