17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in smiling expression with modeled space between the shaded lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 590 A 5 M Germany DRGM. Comments: Marseille, circa 1916. Value Points: rarer model with well modeled features, fine bisque, deeply-impressed cheek and mouth dimples, wearing antique mariner costume.
