9" (23 cm.) Paper mache head with black enamel eyes, painted features, open mouth, two rows of tiny teeth, paper mache one-piece standing body, kid arms with curved fingers, posed standing on tinplate wheeled base, original costume. Condition: doll and mechanism excellent, functioning, costume is somewhat worn. Comments: Theroude, circa 1860. Value Points: a charming mechanical toy, the little child holds a tiny wooden doll in each hand, and when wound, glides around and alternately lifts each arm to show the tiny dolls.
