Description
20" (51 cm.) Solid domed porcelain shoulderhead, painted facial features, blue eyes with red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin body, porcelain lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, fingers broken on left hand, left leg repaired. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: the doll is presented as Queen Elizabeth I of England with elaborate red mohair wig with decorations, and wearing purple velvet gown richly accented with gold metallic trim.
