Description
16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostril, closed mouth with slightly-downcast lips, defined space between the shaded lips, brunette human hair wig, kid body with gusset jointing at hips, knees, shoulders and elbows, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, attributed to C.F. Kling, circa 1885. Value Points: most endearing gentle expression on the closed mouth child, sturdy original body, wearing original Alsatian traditional costume.
