Description
16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde sculpted boyish hair with forelock curls, intaglio tiny dark blue eyes with white eye dots, black upper eyeliner, short stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth in laughing expression with shaded lips, defined tongue tip, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 Heubach (sunburst) 7647 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: rarer model with superb detail of sculpting especially laughter lines around the eyes and mouth.
