20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose E. 9 J. (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful bisque and modeling, original body and body finish, antique costume includes shoes with gilt lettering "Bebe Jumeau".
