Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, one hand replaced. Marks: Unis France 71 149 301 1 1/4. Comments: Bleuette presented by Gautier-Languereau from their Semaine de Suzette girl's magazine, 1935. Value Points: the doll is presented in her original trunk along with extensive trousseau of 19 original costumes from 1920s-1940s, as well as original shoes, umbrella, bonnets, beach chair, box with Bleuette label (possibly original box for Bleuette), early ads, shopping bag labeled "Le Trousseau de Bleuette", and 1930-1931 Bleuette catalog.
