18" (46 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, pale blue side-glancing eyes, grey eyeshadow, painted curly lashes, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (feet). Comments: Lenci, circa 1940, the later-issue taller 300 model, marketed as BH 55, with original organdy costume trimmed with red felt in a window-pane design, felt rose at her waist and around the skirt ruffles, red felt feathered sun bonnet, two petticoats (one with hoop) and pantalets of ruffled-edge organdy, red felt shoes, lace fingerless gloves. Value Points: beautifully-preserved doll with especially pretty hair, wonderful felt flowers on costume.
